Cocktails & Castoffs 2018
5th Annual: Cocktails & Castoffs
Atlanta, join Development in Gardening (DIG) on Sunday, November 11, 2018 for our 5th and largest Cocktails & Castoffs! We will explore the power food has to heal and transform.
DIG’s 5th annual Cocktails & Castoffs event will challenge 9 acclaimed local chefs and 1 all-star Mixologist as they prepare dishes that leave zero food waste behind.
In addition to inspiring food, cocktails, and a festive atmosphere, the event will feature a silent auction and African marketplace. Madison James, a voice you will recognize as the host of the afternoon drive on WSB-FM (B98.5FM) will emcee the event alongside DIG Executive Director and Founder, Sarah Koch.
Guests will also have the chance to transport themselves to one of our Uganda communities through the preview of our new 360 film “Growing New Roots” Directed by Dana Xavier Dojnik and Produced by Jason Drakeford.
This event will bring awareness on how the food we waste here affects people and climates around the world. Come explore the connection and learn how you can make a difference. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting DIG’s work in Africa developing sustainable gardens for nutritionally vulnerable people.
Follow the event on Facebook and make sure to get your tickets in advance before they are gone HERE.
100% of your donations will be used to develop sustainable community gardens for nutritionally vulnerable communities in sub-Saharan Africa and are tax deductible.
